The Board wish to acknowledge the commitment of staff, the support of the parents/guardians and the enthusiast co-operation of the pupils who work together to make our school so successful.

The Board manages the school on behalf of the Patron and is accountable to the Patron and the Minister. School accounts are audited and certified in line with DES guidelines. The Board consists of two nominees of the Patron, two parents, the Principal of the school, one teachers’ representative and two community representatives. Paul Nolan chairs the Board. The Board is appointed for a four year term. The term of office for the current Board is from 1 December 2015 to 30 November 2019.

The Board has overall responsibility for school policies which are reviewed regularly. See Policy section. The Board has ratified a Child Protection Policy for the school and a copy of the school’s Child Protection Policy which includes the names of the designated liaison person (DLP) and deputy DLP is available to all school personnel and the Parents’ Association and is readily accessible to parents on request. An annual review of the Child Protection Policy and its implementation is undertaken by the Board.
