Christmas is such a special time in BIGS especially with our young pupils. All classes were very busy playing and learning with playful experiences based on Christmas themes like the Santa’s workshop and the Christmas Post office. The whole school participated so beautifully in our Carol Service in St John’s Church. Parents and guardians were full of praise for the wonderful singing and speaking from our girls. We were very proud of them. On Wednesday we had a Christmas jumper fundraiser day in school. On this day we also had a number of important visitors to the school. Our parents were invited to join the girls in their classroom during reception time. Santa Claus made a very special visit to our school hall to tell the girls how fantastic they are and that he would be sure to visit them on Christmas Eve! We raised € 1012.20 for the Capuchin Centre on the day. Many Thanks to all our parents and people who contributed!
