As part of our Green Schools initiative to reduce waste and promote reusing and recycling, we invited each child in the school to bring in any books they had at home that they were no longer reading. When all of the books had been brought in, each class visited ‘the Book Swap’ so that each child could choose a book to bring home. In this way, every pupil got a new book to read and no books went to waste. All the girls were thrilled with their new books!
