Yesterday, we walked down to Clontarf Rugby Club where a RNLI helicopter was waiting! Trained air crew spoke to the girls about water safety, the importance of their job and the different parts of the helicopter. The winchman demonstrated how he rescues people from the water. Well done to some of the girls for helping him with this demonstration. The girls all cheered as the helicopter took off. It was a unique and special experience for us all.
