Maths Week Ireland took place from the 11th to the 19th of October, and we had a fantastic time celebrating it here at BIGS! Alongside our regular Active Maths sessions, the girls took part in exciting Maths Trails around the school and in the garden, using their “Maths Eyes” to spot patterns, shapes, numbers, and colours in their surroundings.
Throughout the week, the girls engaged in hands-on activities that brought mathematical concepts to life. They explored the vibrant Maths Week posters and tackled extra problem-solving challenges with enthusiasm and creativity. It was a joyful week of learning, exploring, and having fun with maths!
